Previous Year Service Requests
The data provides a summary of requests for service that require action by City staff. Data is presented by ward and shows the responsible City department and service request description. Service Requests may be received from citizens through the following Channels:
- 311 Contact Centre
- Client Service Centre
- 311 Email
- Web-based Self- Service portal
Update Frequency: Daily
Attributes:
- Service Request ID – Service Request #
- Status – Service Request Stage
- Description - Service Request Classification
- Type - Service Request Classification
- Opened Date – Date the Service Request was opened
- Closed Date – Date the Service Request was closed
- Address – Service Request Location, the field is only displayed for public service request types.
- Latitude – Service Request Location Latitude, the field is only displayed for public service request types.
- Longitude – Service Request Location Longitude, the field is only displayed for public service request types.
- Ward – Ward number that the service request relates to
- Channel – Channel the Service request was created in, for example, Web (WEB), Phone (Voice In), In Person (Face2Face), Mobile (WAP)
Public service requests deal with community-wide services, such as fixing roads or maintaining parks, which don't involve specific personal details. On the other hand, private service requests, like noise complaints or issues with garbage collection, could reveal personal information. To protect individuals' privacy, the exact locations for these private requests are not shared.
