This spatial data is of Census Subdivisions (CSD) geography, for the Durham census division (CD). The boundaries of the CSD's approximately coincide with the boundaries of the lower-tier municipalities in Durham Region, like Pickering, Whitby, and Oshawa. The column "CSDUID" can be used to identify specific CSD's and to link census tables, such as total population and dwellings.
