Carbon Storage Offshore Reference Zone
A grid pattern used to divide the area.
The Carbon Storage Offshore Reference Zones is used to identify Crown land and public pore space in Southwestern Ontario. These zones are used for reference to develop proposals for carbon storage sites under the Geologic Carbon Storage Act, 2025.
A grid pattern is used to divide the area. 1 zone = 252.81 km2. (18.51km x 13.66km).
