Official Plan Schedule A General Land Use Polygons - September 2020 Office Consolidation Of The City Of Brampton 2006 Official Plan

Official Plan Land Use data is composed of polygons defining the following Official Plan Schedule A General Land Use policies areas: Residential, Estate Residential, Village Residential, Regional Retail, Office, Business Corridor, Industrial, Major Institutional, Open Space, NW Brampton Urban Development Area and Provincial Highways. This data is part of the Official Plan mapping data series and is intended to be combined with all of the Official Plan Schedule A datasets to form a complete map. As per O.P. Section 1.1: “The purpose of the Official Plan is to give clear direction as to how physical development and land-use decisions should take place in Brampton to meet the current and future needs of its residents. It is also intended to reflect their collective aims and aspirations, as to the character of the landscape and the quality of life to be preserved and fostered within Brampton. The Plan also provides policy guidance to assist business interests in their decision to invest and grow in the City of Brampton. Finally, the Plan clarifies and assists in the delivery of municipal services and responsibilities.”
