To improve the employment situation for Canadians with disabilities, the Government of Canada provides funding through a Labour Market Agreement for Persons with Disabilities (LMAPD) with the Government of Ontario. The Ministry of Community and Social Services uses this yearly survey for Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) clients for annual reporting to the Government of Canada.
