The riverine flood hazard layer represents areas in British Columbia with potential clear water flood inundation around rivers for a 1 in 200-year flood (0.5% annual exceedance probability). The key data inputs used to develop this Tier 1 floodplain mapping layer include terrain, flow and water level data, and hydrographic features. This was created by BGC (April 19, 2014) for BC Hydro.
