Purpose: The purpose of this dataset is to provide a geographical referenced layer of the emergency warming centres and public warming spaces that may be utilized as extreme temperature relief resources during extreme cold events in British Columbia.

Notes: Historical cold weather resources represent a snapshot of warming locations that were available in each year including temporary/event based or seasonal. There is no guarantee that the sites are available again in following years. All data was provided by local authorities.
