Niagara Falls Maintenance Snow Fence
This polyline layer forms part of the City's maintenance routes. It shows the locations where snow fences are regularly erected throughout the city to help control snow drifting over roadways. It is themed to show the North and South locations
This layer represents the locations where snow fences are regularly installed to mitigate snow drifting over roadways. The dataset includes a unique identifier for each Snow Fence segment (SNOWFENCID), the estimated amount of fencing rolls required for a given segment (NO_ROLLS), and the respective side of the road where the fence is positioned (SIDEOFROAD), either North, South, East or West. The locations are categorized by a descriptive name (LOCATION) and themed to reflect their position in the city (LOCATIONID), SF_01 (North) and SF_02 (South). This spatial data is used by the City for planning and carrying out maintenance operation activities. This layer is updated upon requests from Municipal Works Operations, Municipal Service Centre, as necessary.
