Watercourse Protection Development Permit Area

The Watercourse Protection Development Permit Area is hereby established for the preservation, protection, restoration and enhancement of watercourse and riparian areas. The following guidelines apply to all watercourse and wetland setback areas as identified on Schedule C Natural Features. A Development Permit will be required for all development and subdivision activity or building permits within 50 metres of the top-of-bank of all watercourses and wetlands as shown on Schedule C Natural Features, other than in those circumstances indicated in Section 8.4 Development Permit Exemptions.  See https://www.mapleridge.ca/DocumentCenter/View/2420 for details.
