Licensed Seafood and Meat Operators - point features
The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries is responsible for administrating and enforcing the B.C. Fish and Seafood Act (FSA) and the Fish and Seafood Licensing Regulation (FSLR). The primary objective of this regulatory framework is to ensure safe fish, seafood and aquatic plants for the public's consumption. These features represent all vendors, processors, and receivers that have been licensed by the Food Safety Inspection Branch, Seafood Inspection Program.

These features represent all provincially inspected licenced Abattoirs which have Meat Hygiene and Agri-food Inspectors overseeing the slaughter process. Farmgate and Farmgate Plus features represent sites that are licenced for on-farm slaughter and the sale of uninspected meat products.
