BC Base Map Service - Web Mercator *Deprecated*
Deprecated as of November 2022. This resource has not been updated since 2018 and is only to be used for legacy application support. Please use the updated BC Basemap - vector tile cache. Contact GeoBC for more information.
This tile cache map service application programming interface (API) returns georeferenced base map images and provides other associated capabilities as per the Open Geospatial Consortium Web Mapping Service (WMS) Protocol. Map images are output in Web Mercator projection (EPSG:3857) and match Google map tile scale levels.
