TRSPA SWP Highly Vulnerable Aquifers
Polygon file displaying the Toronto and Region Source Protection Area (TRSPA) Highly Vulnerable Aquifers (HVA). These areas are more susceptible to contamination moving from the surface into the groundwater. In general, a Highly Vulnerable Aquifer (HVA) will consist of granular aquifer materials or fractured rock that has a high permeability and is near the surface of the ground.
