Using this metric, the overall sidewalk completeness in the Core Area is 63 per cent. 51 per cent of neighbourhood streets have at least one sidewalk, while 74 per cent of major roads have sidewalks on both sides. In 2024, we installed sidewalks on McClure Road, Rutland Road, Dehart Road, and Cornwall Road. Filling all the sidewalk gaps in the Core Area will take decades. In the meantime, we are prioritizing locations on busy roads, near parks, and around schools. Construction projects for 2025 include filling in sidewalk gaps on Morrison Avenue and Glenwood Avenue.
