Trees

This feature service provides detailed point data representing the locations of individual trees within the City of Kingston, encompassing both public and private properties. The data captures only those trees that are individually distinguishable. Areas where trees cannot be identified separately are documented in a different dataset for tree groups.

This layer maps individual trees classified into two main types: deciduous and coniferous. The data is derived from high-resolution orthophoto imagery acquired seasonally (spring and fall) through Nearmap. Attributes include the tree type classification and whether the tree is situated in a park. This layer supports general presentation and analysis purposes.
