Forest Management Planning - Annual Reports

GIS data provided annually detailing the location of activities completed during the year for each forest management unit.

Each year, an annual report is prepared in accordance with the forest management planning manual detailing the forest operations that were implemented during the year for each forest management plan. The spatial information is exchanged in accordance with the Forest Information Manual Annual Report Technical Specifications This technical specification identifies the data standards (e.g., data attributes, format) for annual report spatial information (e.g., natural disturbances, harvest disturbances, road construction and road use, water crossings, regeneration treatments). 

For additional Annual Report information, including text, tabular information and maps, the Forest Information Manual recognizes the Natural Resources Information Portal (NRIP) as the means to transfer and store the source information. 

The information is used to support preparation of the next forest management plan and is used for provincial reporting on forest management.   One annual report feature service exists for each forest management plan.  For rolled up Annual Reports please consult this page.
