The polygon features within this dataset identify the Regional Centre and Suburban Study Area. Regional Centre (RC) is approved. Suburban Study Area is part of a planning process and community engagement.

The Community Planning program simplifies the planning framework. The current process is for the Suburban Plan Study Area, defined as land within the Urban Service Boundary, but outside the RC, designated Urban Settlement and Harbour in the Regional Plan.

The proposed data definition and areas are for discussion/engagement purposes only and are subject to change until approved through council. Contact Planning & Development for more information before any decisions. Released for information purposes only.
