The Ministry of Environment operates continuous ambient air monitoring stations as well as wet depostion monitors. These stations are part of the National Air Pollution Surveillance (NAPS) and Precipitation Monitoring Network (CAPMoN) respectively. Continuous ambient air monitors measure the concentration of air pollutants across Saskatchewan. While, the wet deposition program is to help understand the effects of sulfuric and nitric acids to precipitation across the province.
