Coastal Erosion Database
Displays information on coastal erosion and accretion rates in New Brunswick on a site-to-site and year-to-year basis.
This application display information on coastal erosion and accretion rates (in meters per year), data about each individual measurement site, the methodology used and any observed trends in the data for each sample location. The attributes reported for each site include: Erosion/accretion rate (m/yr), habitat type, and a comparison that takes into effect the erosion/accretion rate at that point compared to the average for that habitat type and area of the coastline. Links to relevant publications and possible causes for the trends observed are also included. These data were produced through partnership between the government, academic institutions and consultants.Datasets available for download
