App used to see all the wetlands, rivers, waterbodies and ORCA regulated areas in and around the City of Peterborough.

The Wetland and Creeks Viewer App provides an interactive map designed to highlight key environmental features within the city of Peterborough, offering users a detailed look at the region’s natural and regulated landscapes. The map layers include waterbody polygons that outline lakes and ponds, creeks and river lines that trace the flow of waterways through the city, and wetland areas that emphasize ecologically sensitive zones critical for biodiversity and flood management. In addition, the app incorporates the Otonabee Region Conservation Authority (ORCA) Development Regulated Areas, which identify zones where land use and development are subject to conservation regulations, ensuring that growth in Peterborough balances environmental protection with urban planning.
