Central Selkirk Snowmobile Management Map
The Central Selkirks Snowmobile Closure Web Map indicates open and closed areas within this snowmobile closure area and is used to protect the Central Selkirks caribou herd from disturbance by snowmobiles. Closed portions of this management area are determined by the presence of GPS-collared caribou. The map is updated daily. Only members of two specified snowmobile user groups (which are provided limited access to the area via permits) are allowed to enter the closure area. Members who wish to ride in the area must check the web map on that day to verify which zones are open and closed. Anyone who is not a member of either the Arrow Lakes Ridge Riders or the Trout Lake Recreational Club is not permitted to enter the closed area at any time.
