A research team, working with the Rural Ontario Institute (ROI), undertook this study to explore hidden homelessness in rural and northern Ontario. Their intent was to explore existing understandings of the issue and identify promising local strategies that address the situation. We conducted surveys of service managers and service providers and gathered their perspectives in focus groups.
