Interactive Maps Ontario Internet Access Map (OIAM) Community The Ontario Internet Access Map has been developed by Blue Sky Net as a publicly accessible interactive GIS map detailing access to premise broadband levels throughout Ontario communities, right down to the neighbourhood you live in. Community leaders, health care professionals, individuals interested in service alternatives, and internet service providers are encouraged to take advantage of the map’s information for their own research and understanding of access throughout Ontario. Launch the Ontario Internet Access Map This section includes external maps related to broadband access. These maps are sourced from Ontario Connects, ISED National Broadband Availability map, CRTC, and other publicly available sources. The National Broadband Data and the National Broadband Map are comprehensive and precise mapping data describing retail broadband Internet services and wholesale backbone infrastructure in Canada. National Broadband Internet Availability Map ICT (United Nations): Infrastructure Connectivity Map This is an interactive global map illustrating broadband deployment worldwide. Source: The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is the United Nations specialized agency for information and communication technologies – ICTs. https://bbmaps.itu.int/bbmaps/ In this series of interactive maps, we will take a look at the public data related to cellular coverage networks accross Ontario. Even in 2025, significant gaps in cellular coverage are still an issue in Ontario, primarily in the northern and rural areas. Ontario Cellular Coverage Map (OCCM) The map below was created using the ISED National Broadband Dataset, as it includes information about cellular coverage using the pseudo-household distribution method. The data was last updated in June 2025In this case, each pseudo-household data point was assigned a value of zero or one. These values were summarized using the 2021 Census dissemination blocks (neighbourhood level) and the census subdivisions (community level).The road segment layer follows the major highways in the province, this layer is from the CRTC's dataset. In the map below, the green road segments indicate that the highway has cell coverage, and the magenta road segments indicate there is no cell service covering that stretch of highway.Note: When viewing the neighbourhood level summaries (dissemination blocks), any block with zero dwellings (households) will show up as red. The summaries were calculated using cellular (4G LTE) availability and dwelling (household) counts. Note: This map does not guarantee cellular coverage, the 25km hexagons provide an estimate of coverage. This map was created using the ISED hexagon mapping. Source: ISED National Broadband Dataset Launch the Number of Mobile Providers By Hexagon Map Ontario Highways Cellular Coverage Map This map indicates the major highways in the province, where the green highway segments should have cellular service, and the magenta highway segments do not have cellular service. SCADACore’s Industry 4.0 solutions include true 3D HMI / Digital Twin and Web HMI that works over the web. The cell tower information on this page is obtained from the Canadian Spectrum Management System Dataset. Note: SCADACore CANNOT assist with any Reception or Cell Tower inquiries. SCADACore has no affiliation with Cellular Providers such as Bell, Rogers, Telus, AT&T, or Verizon.
