2021 North Trenton/Battle Monument Choice Neighborhood Plan

A plan to turn the North Trenton / Battle Monument neighborhood into a thriving, mixed-income neighborhood. The main goals of this plan relate to housing, education, employment, health, and general redevelopment. Housing goals include reimagining Donnelly Homes, Junior One School Building, and reversing decline through targeted demolition, stabilization and investment. Education goals include increasing access to and outcomes of education. The plan states that training and placement programs will help employment, as well as supporting the growth of small businesses. Health goals include expanding access to healthcare and insurance and improving access to healthy food and recreation.
